A Fine Warehouse Shoe Store. The people complaining about customer service are nothing more than children in adult bodies. In this economy stores lack the sales to support the large staffs they did just a few years ago.

GB is a good shoe store with reasonable prices. People expecting dirt cheap shoes may as well start shopping at the dollar stores instead of griping. Gas is going up and so will all items from food to shoes to tires. If people would quit looking for "deals" and "discounts" they might actually find good customer service and a friendly smile. However, most people around Columbia walk in stores and immediately ask for coupons and sales. I applaud GB for its good customer service and well-trained staff.

Regular overpriced shoes without the benefit of customer service.. The selection was adequate, but like the other reviewers, I found the customer service to be lacking. There was obviously no interest in service and what little service there was, was slow. The prices weren't exactly "warehouse" prices. If I'm going to pay regular price anyway, I'll find a store that offers helpful, courteous employees.

Not At the Top of My List. I had a very bad return experience at this store. I was called "stupid" by the cashier because I disagreed with the return procedure in my situation. It is a warehouse where customer service is basically non-existent to begin with so I felt like any interaction with a person should have been pleasant - but I was wrong. A previous review had said that you have to look to find something worth buying, and that is definitely true. It's rare you do find something that you can't already find somewhere else for the same price - and with nicer people to deal with. If you do decide to shop at this store, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

Always an adventure. Some days this place is great and other times, not so much. I found some fantastic Pumas one day and Chuck Taylors for my brother another day. You have to walk the isles and you may not always find something. But when you do, it's good.
