Great 4 true seafood lovers. This place is GREAT!! You will love the food and the prices. Ive tried the Oysters which are great. And they open the Oyesters right infront of you. The Scollopes are big and Juicey as well. You must try this resturant.

Overcharging on purchases. BEWARE!!!. I was there recently to celebrate a co-workers b-day. I only had two items. They were priced reasonably. My problem occurred after paying my check. I used my card and was charged more than twice for the same purchase!! This caused a withdrawl of $40 from my account instead of the original amt. I had a friend with me who also encountered the same problem. She was charged twice the amt. BEWARE OF OVER PRICING!! CHECK BANK ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE!!

Biggest, best oysters in all Columbia!!!. This is my boyfriend and I's second time in Columbia. We stumbled upon the Oyster Bar by accident...and was it a great accident. I've never been to a place in my life where you could only order seafood. What a dream for me!! The oysters were a lot bigger when we came in February. But if you eat Oysters enough, the saying goes "That any month ending in a Y will give you the best and biggest oysters!" They are so unbelievably fresh and tasty. The Capital Oysters are very good, as well as the shrimp!! The prices are reasonable and every time I leave I can't wait to go back!!! Highly recommended to seafood lovers!!

Fun place for good oysters. I like the very different atmospheres of the front bar and the oyster bar in back. The front bar is very nice for after-dinner drinks with friends, and the oyster bar is only for those serious about eating good oysters. Be sure to order some of the shrimp (Old Bay flavor is best) and the gumbo. They serve the cocktail sauce hot -- very nice touch. The shuckers are wonderful -- they shuck faster than you can eat the oysters. Great weekend hangout.
