Best Mexican Food In SC. I've been eating at Hola Mexico since 2002 and its the best mexican around Columbia. We live off of Garners Ferry Road and drive 15 minutes each time we go to eat. It is the cleanest and best tasting in Columbia. The new location is twice as nice as the old one. Try it you will love it !!!!!

Price outrageous and Food disappointing. They just opened at the 9009 Two Notch Road location so my coworker and I gave them a try. I went around 1 for carry out and they were not busy. The manager was on the phone and never acknowledged my presence. Once he finished his phone call a few minutes later he wanted to seat me. I advised I wanted to carry out 2 pollo fundido plates. I sat at the bar and waited watching one waitress texting while walking to a table to see if her customer's needed anything. A bucket of what appeared to be cleaning solution sat on the counter inside the bar area and dried up limes were all over a cutting board. I got my 2 orders and paid $24.00 (that included a "carry out" charge. I thought that was high (or rather the manager was) for lunch but paid. The manager asked if I had a menu and I told him no. He gave me one and told me to call ahead next time. I got back to the office to notice there was a bag of chips, one tiny container of salsa, and two of the most awful plates of pollo fundido we've ever eaten. The chicken was rubber, there was a splash of chesse on the bottom and the rice was dry. My coworker said the salsa was the "same ol same ol." I can't comment one way or the other because I didn't get any. After paying $24 for lunch I truly expected an amazing dish. We are both very disappointed and will never go back.

Best Mexican in NE. This to me is the best mexican in the NE. We go there at least 3 times a month. My family of 5 eats for $40. We have only waited 1 time for 5 minutes, even on weekends. I order the Fajita Nancho off the appitizer mnue for my meal and its is awesome. Some time the wait staff does not get around enough, but most of the times its right on.
