Gene Love Heating and Air literally saved my residence from a possible fire or worse. I used another local Columbia HVAC company to install new duct work a few years ago. The work was absolutely horrible! Come to find out that the owner of that company was into some pretty shady dealings and refused to correct the problem that he created. Enter Marty Jewel, Daniel, and the rest of the crew from Gene Love. Their investigation found that there were actually live wires near a water source in my attic at the HVAC unit. It took them about 10 days over Christmas to redo it all. They did not let me down. They may have saved my family's lives. I even received a beautiful edible arrangement as a thank-you gift. Best part of all? They did not overcharge or take advantage of me at a vulneralbe time. They worked with me for a financial arrangement that was affordable and fair. As a service partner, I do not pay a visit call, like all the other companies in town expect, even if you HAVE a contract with them! I recommend Gene Love to anyone with plumbing or HVAC needs. 5 stars!

Gene Love was great, we had a plumbing issue and Daniel D. came to our rescue. He was prompt, professional, very courteous and quickly fixed our problem and explained everything in easy to understand language. I would highly recommend Gene Love and will definitely call them again if we have any future issues.

Highly recommended! A service contract is highly recommended as well. Charles O. came out to replace the disposal. He was thorough and knowledgeable and the price quoted over the phone was exactly what he delivered. Also very professional. Thanks, Charles! Also Tim R. Came out to investigate the malfunctioning air conditioner. He explained everything in detail and explained everything in detail in my contract. No hidden prices. Tim was professional and knowledgeable. I am a very inquisitive customer and he made sure all of my questions were answered before his departure. Thanks, Tim! The professionalism demonstrated by these two mirrored the company that they work for. Thanks, gentlemen. I hope that I don't need your services anytime soon, but I am glad that you are right around the corner.

I would not recommend. First, unlike the other posts on here for this company, I actually paid to have them do work in my home.

If you think the other posts are legitimate...try this. Click on the user names of the first ten posts you see. You will find that the users that reviewed Gene Love all gave five star reviews to the same three or four businesses and all were made within a very short time frame. These are obviously the result of someone being paid to give reviews to certain companies.

Now, back to my review of Gene Love. First, they are very professional....answer the phone right away, are very prompt, showed up when they said they would and did a good job with the repair.

However, all of this is offset by the fact that their charges are OUTRAGEOUS. Yes, they told me the charges ahead of time and yes, I agreed to pay. The thing is, once they get there you are on the hook for a service charge whether you agree to the fees or not, so you factor that into their rate and the inconvenience of getting another plumber come out and you sort of just grit your teeth and pay them. That is what I did. Next time, I will be much smarter though and call another plumber the first time.

Gene Love charged me more than $300 to repair a small section of pipe that took less than thirty minutes for them to repair (and included less than $5 worth of parts). If you find that reasonable, you will happy with the service you provide. If not, I suggest you look somewhere else.

Thanks Gene!!!. Our air conditioning broke and I called Gene Love Plumbing and they sent out a tech the next day in the morning which was awesome cause I couldn't take the heat no more. Thanks Gene!!!

everything is going fine. Gene Love Plumbing Service is a wonderful company to use if your well ever runs dry or need servicing. The technicians came out quickly to help us when our faucets went dry. They are reasonably priced and they have a nice selection of payment options. They came in and gave us an accurate quote and went right to work. They had our water flowing in no time. They even will follow up with you to make sure that everything is going fine.
