Groucho's. Groucho's is a place i've been going to my entire life. We have one in my home town of Lexington, SC. I recently started college in Columbia, SC at USC and we have a Groucho's here too. Groucho's food is mediocre but what makes it delicious is the sauce that it comes with. The bread and the meat are microwaved which might not satisfy everyone's expectations of a restaurant, but the sauce is phenomenal.

Best Sandwich in Columbia. I just recently began living in Columbia and had never been to a Goucho's Original Deli. When I walked in the door i immediately felt welcome and relaxed. The people working there are so friendly and make you feel at home. The food is absolutely amazing and makes you want to never be finished with your meal. The sauces are to die for; I've never had a sandwich so good. It is a little chaotic walking in, but it's a great place to hang out and chat with your friends while enjoying a meal.

Groucho's Gives You That Columbia Feeling. For my experience at Groucho's Original Deli to be great, it didn't have to be just in Columbia. This franchise offers locations in multiple places. I liked the service and feeling (and the food) of this place that I found one where I am from and went there when I visited home. The sauce is amazing and the atmosphere of being downtown in Columbia helps it all sink in. Although the people were very friendly, organization wasn't their strong point, but this gave it a more informal and homey-kitchen feel. Go with friends and enjoy a good lunch!

Cleanliness. The appearance of this establishment leaves a lot to be desired....there are white plastic chairs on the sidewalk...they are so filthy looking that I would never dare sit on them.

The best deli ever!. I love Groucho's! Everything about it is awesome. The 45 sauce is insane! They are opening one in Clemson! Awesome!

Not impressed. From someone who is used to a real deli, I am not impressed with Groucho's at all. Sorry, but overprocessed meat and Thousand Island dressing is not what a real deli is. The only thing close to a real New York or Philly style deli down here is Paul's Philadelphia whatever on Park St. in the Vista.

Very Cool. This Groucho's is my favorite. I grew up eating there. All groucho's deli's are very good. The 45 Sauce, Huge subs, and hot girls make it very cool to go to.
