Been going to them for years!. First off, I do want to say that I have been going to PLW for years. I have never run into any problems, and I have spent a lot of time there. First off, the staff, from who I've talked to, are very knowledgeable. They helped me with any and all questions I had. I've purchased numerous small animals and merchandise from here, and they all lived to their expected years. They offer a great variety of food and treats as well as any other things you could want for your pet. I will keep going back to them as long as my staff is there! :)

No longer a fan II. I too have been a loyal customer until this last incident. Having purchased birds and supplies from them, I recently went to purchase another bird, for my mother, to give to my son for his birthday. I was told to wait to pay, but they would hold the bird until my extra cage was available. When I went back the price had increased by $20.00 dollars. When I asked for the original price which was posted, I was denied. Several of the employees admitted I was correct and still the manager argued with me and asked why I was making such a big deal over the money! My mother is retired and on a fixed income. She wasn't expecting to pay that much. I asked if it was worth losing my business, and was told that since I was being so difficult, she would give me a store credit. Keep the store credit. It is obvious that she is not interested in my business, but I bet her competitor is.

Great Store-Helpful and Friendly Staff. I frequent the store and find the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The have seen a lot of good changes recently with updating and bringing in new products and I found out that the store will also take product requests- which is great! I also love that the store supports local rescue groups and even has a kitten/cat rescue program. I highly recommend this store to everyone!

No longer a fan. In the past, I frequented Petlover's Warehouse. Then, the price of the dogfood I was purchasing at the time went from $20.99/40 lbs. to $29.99/40 lbs. I asked the store why there had been such a huge jump in price (known full well management recently changed) and they were very snarky stating "the only reason our prices go up is because the manufacturer's prices have gone up." I thought that was quite curious considering the same product at Animal Supply House 1 mile down the road was $5.00 less (saving me $25/month), so ASH got my business after that.

I don't agree with the way they breed small animals at PetLovers Warehouse, and I don't appreciate the staff who appear to be knowledgeable but are actually ignorant (at best) whether they're aware of it or not. I've heard them distributing misinformation on animal care on more than one occasion. PLW no longer gets any of my business (with 6 dogs, 1 cat, 2 budgies, and 2 gerbils). I no longer purchase commercial pet food for my dogs or cat, but when I do purchase treats or supplies, II go to a chain store in 5 points with a much friendlier (and actually more knowledgeable) staff and cleaner store.

A wonderful store. I"m very glad they do not sell dogs. Dogs should be bought from a reputable breeder that screens homes to be sure the dog is going to the right home. Dogs bought in a pet store are generally from puppy mills. A reputable breeder that does genetic testing on the parents of a puppy would not sell to a pet store.

I find that the employees of this store are extremely helpful and kind. I buy all my dog food from this store.

Supply. i wish that they would have bigger animals such as dogs, cats and uncommon animals such as chinchillas. otherwise it is a great local animal shop!
