over priced without perks. Over priced cuts... They didnt even give a special neck or scalp massage like at most places I go. No specialty coffee drinks or music either. Not even updated celebrity gossip mags nothing to make it worth the 45$. I can get this cut anywhere. Plus very rude front desk girl both on the phone and worse in person. I won't be back!

I feel a little let down. I'm new to the area so I resourced the internet first. I read the reviews on here and I thought I would check it out. I called 3 times for an appointment and I left 2 messages. I was confused when no one returned my call but I am optimistic. I thought this place must be busy which is why I never heard back. After reaching someone on the 3rd call I was let down. I asked for the girls listed in the reviews in hopes I would get lucky. I was told that Pam, Stephanie and Samantha are no longer there. I asked the girl if I could make an appointment with someone that has the same level of experience as those girls. I was placed with a guy I would describe as a "rockwannabe" which is awesome. His style made me really excited. I was thinking he has to be a awesome artistic, creative gay guy. He isn’t any of those things I was let down and felt confused. The girl on the phone told me he had 5 years experience. When I asked him he told me he had only been a stylist a year. Not that I really care but when I ask and was told one thing I expect it to be true. I left feeling really dissatisfied with my over all experience. I was there for 3.5 hours for a cut with a few highlights for fall. It's not the time or the level of experience that mattered to me. It's the finale result that matters. I would sit all day for someone if the results were worth it. All combined, time, money, over-all experience and customer service I would have to say no to ever going back. Also they were very pushy when it comes to product sales. I would set up a class on how to sale to customers if I were management. I'm sure at some point this salon was "the place" but it looks like all of the good people left and they hired people from great clips or Wal-Mart who knows.

Response to the satified customer below.. My girlfriend gets her hair cut and colored by Stephanie as well as three of her friends. They are all good looking women and always love their hair and I do too. Let's first start off by saying this post/rant loses most of its credibility when people are called "fat" and "trolls". Clearly this person isn't mature or sane enough to walk into a salon to get her hair colored. It is amazing that people like this have lasted thing long on planet Earth. It sounds like she ran around the salon making a fool out of herself and everyone for no reason. So what, you didn't like your color. If you're not prepared for such a dramatic change in your hair, just leave it the way it is, or maybe next time you should just stick with the DIY stuff from Wal-Mart if you can't trust, or at least give your stylist, whoever she, or he is, the benefit of the doubt that they will do their best to make you look your great.

Pam has to be the most talented stylist ever!. I consider myself to be a very picky customer when it comes to my hair and finding a place that I would go back to. I'm the kind of woman that usually will run home and fixes my hair the way I like it after getting it done. Pam has to be the best colorist and stylist I've ever been to and that is saying something because I've been around the block! I've had some seriously bad haircuts and have had hair trauma for years - but now I've been redeemed!! I've never had so many compliments on my hair in my life. Thank you Pam for doing such a great job! I'm sorry if everyone doesn't see how talented you are!! You rock girl!

Awesome color and cut!. Just came from the salon! Samantha was great...very friendly, took her time and really listened to what I liked and disliked about the color the previos stylist had done to my hair...she did an amazing job giving me the color and cut I have been wanting for so long! I can't wait to go back! Thanks so much Samantha!

YAY for Great hair!. I have been going to Image Makers Salon now for a few years, and just wanted to share how GREAT all of the stylists are! :) I was having some hair "issues" a couple years ago when I first went in-- due to a number of reasons my hair was breaking off and was in great need of repair... I was put with a stylist named Pam and she gave me guidelines to follow to get my hair to grow, tips of what to do with my hair to make it look better while it was growing, and products that would help my hair grow faster and healthier--- She went above and beyond to help me so that I could get my hair back to its original state. I can't thank her enough because now I have BEAUTIFUL hair... I would reccomend any of the stylists at the salon as I have met most of them over the past few years! :) Great salon, great people, great hair!

Worst service and hair cut EVER by PAM!!!!!!!. This was my first and last time visiting this salon. I had a VERY bad experience with Pam! I moved from CA. and had a very good stylist and was hesitant to go somewhere new. I had read mostly good reviews for this place and read only one bad review and it looked like a very trendy place to go. Was I wrong! In the one bad review the lady described her terrible experience with a woman with dark colored hair that cut her hair. I still went anyway, and lo and behold it must have been the same woman. Pam had a terrible attitude from the start was very snippety and very ROUGH! She kept tugging my head, and literally took less than 1 minute to wash my hair, the fastest I have ever received. She gave me the worst hair cut I have ever received, and I left crying. She did a botch job on my hair and does not have any concept of what side sweep bangs are supposed to look like. She kept chopping more and more when I told her I wanted it wispy, she took the razor and made it worst. It is uneven and looks terrible.Terrible bedside manner, terrible haircut, terrible manners, I am angry, my husband is angry. She does NOT know how to cut hair and should not be working at a place like this! She literally told me to GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK! I have to go get my hair cut again to undo the damage. Don't ever go to this place it is not worth the embarassment.

Great haircut, great service, really nice place!. I loved it! I moved to Columbia last August (2007) and was looking for a new hairstylist. I went to sooo many places and than I heard about Image Makers and that the people were so satisfied! So I got there and met Shari and was absolutely happy! She gave me a great haircut and I really liked the atmosphere also. She also told me things about my hair that I had never heard before and since than it is so much healthier. Love ya Shari!

Terrible service!!. Wish I could give it less than one star!!! The cut was fair, but my stylist (dark hair: you know who you are!) had a terrible attitude! She was snippy to me - and I don't mean my hair!- because I was delayed and had come in a minute or two (at most!) late. She even threatened to leave my hair wet. I won't be back!!
