I had a gift certificate for a massage that was given to me for my birthday. I scheduled an appointment but had a serious family emergency that required I call to reschedule. I called less than 24 hours and they said they would not reschedule and my certificate ($100) was now void. The certificate made no mention of the 24 hour policy. I've bought them from other places and was not unfamiliar with the policy but most legitimate businesses would offer a compromise for the death of an immediate family member. I had tried calling outside of the 24 hour period but couldn't get an answer (closed) and no one called me back. By the time I got a person, it was within 24 hours of my appointment time. Not only would they not reschedule the owner was extremely rude and unpleasant over the phone. She almost seemed pleased that she scored $100 easy bucks and didn't have to provide the service. There are just some instances when a business should take the high road. I've since heard other people mention this salon offered poor quality and the owner was rude to them as well. I take comfort in knowing that I continue to book massages frequently and she doesn't get one cent of my business. Shame on her!
Pros: Can't think of any!
Cons: Rude owner hungry to take your money!
